I cannot hear any sound through my Advent Wireless Headphones, model.

The below alternatives may solve your problem:

  • Check that your audio source, transmitting station and headphone are connected, supplied properly and turned on.

  • Verify that the batteries are installed correctly.

  • Check to ensure the transmitting station is running and the ON-OFF LED indicator light on the unit is on.

  • Check that the audio source is delivering a sufficient signal to the transmitting station's AUDIO IN input socket.


I am experiencing poor sound quality or interference when using my Advent Wireless Headphones, model ADVW721.

The following alternatives may solve the problem that you are experiencing:

  • Check to ensure that the sound provided by the audio source is loud enough and of sufficient quality.

  • Verify that the batteries have sufficient power. Try recharging or replacing them, if necessary.

  • Check to see if you have selected the best transmission channel (1, 2, or 3) on the transmitting station to provide the optimum signal reception. If necessary, try another channel. Press the Fine Tuning button on the headphone once to adjust reception.

  • Check if the distance between the headphone and/or speakers and the transmitting stationis within the operating range. (The effective range is up to 150 feet/46 meters.)* Move the transmitting station closer so it is within the operating range and can receive sound.

  • Check that the audio source provides stereo sound.

The power cut off unexpectedly on my Advent Wireless Headphones, model ADVW721.

The following alternatives may solve your problem:

  • The transmitting station has an automatic power off function. When no signal is received through the transmitting station's AUDIO IN input socket, it turns off. Turn on your audio source again, use the Fine Tuning button on the headphone to adjust the reception. If necessary, increase the volume on the audio source.

  • The transmitting station also has an automatic function that turns it off if the AUDIO IN input socket does not receive an audio signal for approximately 90 seconds. This feature was installed to comply with current legislation that reduces the amount of radio emissions in the environment. To ensure that this function is not accidentally triggered, set the audio source volume at approximately 50 percent capacity. Consult your component user's manual for detail on how to set the volume for headphone/earphones.


The transmitting station for my Advent Wireless Headphones, model ADVW721, does not turn on. .

  • Check to make sure the volume on the audio source is set to a normal volume. If the volume is too low, the transmitting station will not turn on.
